Jean M. Judd selected for inclusion in Elk River Area Arts Alliance's (ERAAA's) Arts in Harmony



The Elk River Area Arts Alliance (ERAAA) has announced that textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin is one of the artists selected for inclusion in Arts in Harmony, the 2015 International Juried Art Exhibition. The artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit is Flaming Grapes. This year is Judd’s eighth being included in this prestigious exhibition, which features paintings, drawings, hand-pulled prints, mixed media, fiber, photography, ceramics, glass, sculpture, and sequential art.

Exhibit juror Curt Pederson, Curator of Exhibits and Collections at the American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis, Minnesota has selected 224 artworks from one of the largest submission pools ever received: 640 artworks. The exhibit opens on February 2, 2015 and is open through March 26, 2015. The artists' reception and awards presentation (over $12,500) is on February 8, 2015 from 1 to 3:30 pm.   1. I am excited to announce that on February 8, 2015 Flaming Grapes was given a cash award for 2nd place in the Fiber category during the artist reception for the Arts in Harmony 2015 International Exhibition.
