Jean M. Judd selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Artists Biennial 2014



The Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA) organization and the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) in West Bend, Wisconsin have announced that textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin is one of the artists selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Artists Biennial 2014. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes: Rusted Lace #2.    

The exhibit will premiere in the new MOWA building that opened in April of 2013. Since its inception in 1900, the WVA organization has been committed to highlighting artistic excellence throughout the state. Exhibit juror Molly Zuckerman-Hartung has selected 54 artworks for inclusion in this biennial from a submission pool of 262 artists. The exhibit opens January 17, 2014 and is open through March 2, 2014. The opening reception is on January 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

  1. I just heard that they have extended the exhibition through the 9th of March, 2014 so that is exciting as well.

  2. At the opening night reception on January 17, 2014, I was thrilled to be awarded the Third Place in Show cash award. It was a well attended opening in spite of the bad weather with snow and cold.
