The Nicolet Art Gallery at Nicolet
College in Rhinelander, Wisconsin has selected textile artist Jean M. Judd of
Cushing, Wisconsin for inclusion in the 27th Annual Northern
National Art Competition. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit: Contaminated Water #5: Mutated Sand
Dollars, Rusted Fish.
This is an annual, national juried
exhibition of 2D fine arts, including photography and mixed media work. The exhibit's juror, Linda Benedict-Jones, Adjunct Professor at Carnegie-Mellon
University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania has selected 87 artworks from a pool of
512 for the exhibition.
The exhibition opens on July 22,
2014 and is open through September 12, 2014. The artists' reception and awards
presentation by the juror is on July 22, 2014 at 5 pm. The address of the
