46th All Media 2014 Art exhibition selects Jean M. Judd's Contaminated Water #6: Suspended Particles for inclusion



The Octagon Center for the Arts has announced that textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin is one of the artists selected for inclusion in the 46th All Media 2014 Art exhibition. The exhibition is open to all media and methods including, but not limited to, clay, fiber, paper, glass, metal, wood, painting, collage, photography, and electronically based works. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes: Contaminated Water #6: Suspended Particles.
Exhibit juror Christina Chang, Curator of Engagement at the Minnesota Museum of American Art, has selected 64 pieces from a submission pool of 360 artworks. The exhibit opens on January 24, 2014 and is open through April 5, 2014. The opening reception is on January 24, 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The address for the exhibition is:

Jean M. Judd selected for inclusion in the Arts in Harmony 2014 International Juried Art exhibition



The Elk River Area Arts Alliance has announced that textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin is one of the artists selected for inclusion in the Arts in Harmony 2014 International Juried Art exhibition. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes Contaminated Water #8: Water Spider.  This is Judd’s seventh year being included in this prestigious exhibition.
Exhibit juror Curt Pederson, Curator of Exhibits and Collections at the American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis, has selected artworks from one of the largest submission pools ever received. The exhibit opens on February 3, 2014 and is open through March 27, 2014. The artists' reception and awards presentation (over $10,000) is on February 9, 2014 from 1 to 3:30 pm.

Jean M. Judd selected for inclusion in the 35th Annual Contemporary Crafts Exhibition



The Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in Mesa, Arizona has selected textile artist Jean M. Judd of Cushing, Wisconsin for inclusion in the 35th Annual Contemporary Crafts Exhibition. Artwork selected for inclusion in the exhibit includes: Twirling Leaves #2.  This year is Judd’s fourth time being included in this exhibition.
The show highlights the finest in contemporary crafts from around the country and is a benchmark of innovation and quality produced within traditional craft forms such as ceramics, fibers, basketry, metals, wood, glass, jewelry, paper making, and book arts. The exhibition's juror, Independent Curator Julie M. Muñiz of the Oakland Museum of California, selected forty-six artworks by thirty-five artists from a pool of 248 submissions.

The exhibition opens on February 14 and is open through April 13, 2014. The artists' reception and awards presentation is on February 14, 2014 from 7 to 10 pm. The address of the museum is:
